Route 1066 is providing you the unparalleled opportunity to meet Guy Fawkes just days before November 5th, 1605. As he prepares to ignite the fuses to the barrels of gunpowder in the cellars under Parliament.
You will get to meet Britain’s most famous traitor on the banks of the River Thames in the lead up to the State Opening of Parliament in 1605 as he prepares for his accursed role.
You will be provided with authentic coins and attire for the period as well as a clay tobacco pipe. You will then be taken to meet Guy Fawkes where you can place the pipe in your mouth after asking him for a light. Fawkes will then ignite your pipe. He will be grateful for the extra training.
As you will be meeting Guy Fawkes in the lead up to the Gunpowder Plot, we are sure you can appreciate that his mind is likely to be in an excited state of preparedness. His senses could be acutely balanced and easily triggered. Therefore, Route 1066, in the interests of customer safety, will not allow anyone to undertake the trip if they have a double-barrelled name or have been prone in the past to losing their temper easily (thus having a short fuse).
